Policies
Short version: everything I make is made for one person, so it can’t be returned — and because that’s a strict rule, I’ve tried to make sure you never need it. Here’s all of it in plain language.
Every set is made just for you
Each set is hand-made to your design and your measurements, which means it isn’t worth anything to anyone else. All sales are final — no returns, exchanges or refunds.
The Fit Promise
If I did the measuring — in person or on a video fit call — and your first set doesn’t fit, I remake it once, free. Send me a photo of the set on your hand within 7 days of getting it. You don’t need to send anything back.
This covers fit, on your first set. It doesn’t cover wear, lifting or damage, and it doesn’t apply to measurements you took yourself — I can only stand behind a number I watched being taken.
Sizing you did yourself
If you measured your own nails, I can’t remake or refund a set for fit. A nail that’s slightly too big can be filed down; a nail that’s too small can’t be fixed.
Which is why I keep the side edges of every nail clear of rhinestones and 3D work — so you can always file one to fit. Get measured before you order and none of this comes up. It’s free, and it takes two minutes.
Handmade means handmade
Small variations in colour, placement and shape are part of buying something a person made by hand rather than a machine stamped out. Screens also show colour differently to real life. I’ll get as close to your approved mockup as I possibly can, but I can’t promise a pixel-perfect match. If an exact colour matters — matching a dress, say — tell me and I’ll swatch it first.
No warranty on wear
Once a set is with you, wear, lifting, chips and breakage aren’t covered. Press-ons are worn temporarily and they aren’t indestructible. How long they last depends on your prep, your glue and your hands.
But if something breaks, I’m still here
- A stone or 3D piece lifts in the first two weeks? Send that nail back and I’ll fix it free. You cover postage. That’s my work not holding up.
- Lost a nail? I keep your sizes and design on file. A replacement is $8, or $12 for a 3D or charm nail, any time.
- Damaged when it arrived? Tell me within 48 hours and I’ll put it right.
Deposit and design approval
- A 50% deposit holds your slot.
- I send you a Procreate mockup of your actual set to approve before I make anything.
- Two rounds of changes are free. A third round is $10.
- Once you approve, the design is locked, the deposit becomes non-refundable, and your 7–10 day build starts.
The deposit isn’t there to trap you — it’s because approving the design is the point where I start buying materials for your specific set and booking the hours to make it.
Paying
Cash, Venmo or Zelle. Deposit on approval, balance on delivery. I don’t take cards.
Cancelling
Free within 24 hours of paying your deposit, as long as I haven’t started making it. After that the deposit is non-refundable.
Rush orders can’t be cancelled once started — a rush means I’ve moved other work to fit you in.
Ready-to-ship sets
Sets on the shop shelf are one-of-a-kind and already made, so they aren’t made to your measurements. Each one lists the sizes it fits — check those against yours before claiming it. Because they weren’t sized for you, the Fit Promise doesn’t apply to ready-to-ship sets.
Claiming one reserves it immediately. If payment isn’t sorted within 48 hours it goes back on the shelf.
Your photos
Inspiration pictures you send me are only used to design your set. They aren’t published anywhere.
I’d love to post photos of finished sets, but only if you’re happy with that — there’s a tick box on the order form and you can untick it, or change your mind later just by telling me.
Under 18?
Plenty of my customers are, and that’s completely fine — just have a parent or guardian involved in the order and the payment. There’s a box to tick on the form.
Getting in touch
Message me through the order form or on Instagram. If something’s gone wrong with a set, tell me — most things are fixable and I’d much rather hear about it than not.
